buffalo chicken loaded nachos

buffalo chicken loaded nachos

ingredients

  1. 1 lb D&W Buffalo Chicken Cheesesteak Style Sausage, sliced into coins
  2. 10 oz tortilla chips
  3. 2 cups D&W shredded cheese mix
  4. 1 red bell pepper, diced
  5. 1 green bell pepper, diced
  6. 4 green onions, thinly sliced
  7. 1/3 cup buffalo sauce
  8. 1 tablespoons olive oil
  9. 1/2 teaspoons salt
  10. 1/3 teaspoons black pepper

directions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F. Line a large baking sheet with foil or use a large oven-safe platter.
  2. Grill the sausage: Heat a grill pan over medium-high heat. Add the sausage coins and grill for 2–6 minutes per side until you get good char marks. Set aside.
  3. Sauté the peppers: In the same pan, add a drizzle of olive oil and sauté the red and green peppers over medium heat for 3–4 minutes until just softened. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Layer the nachos: Spread the tortilla chips in an even layer on your baking sheet or platter. Scatter the sautéed peppers evenly over the chips, then top with most of the shredded cheese.
  5. Add sausage and bake: Arrange the grilled sausage coins across the top, then finish with the remaining cheese. Bake for 8–10 minutes until the cheese is fully melted and bubbling.
  6. Finish and serve: Remove from the oven and immediately drizzle generously with buffalo sauce. Scatter the green onions over the top and serve straight from the pan.
