Dietz Dogs chili

ingredients

  1. 2 packages Jumbo Beef Dietz Dogs, sliced
  2. 16-24 ounces Dietz & Watson Medium Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  3. 2 1/2 lbs ground beef
  4. 1 large white onion, chopped
  5. 1/2 large green pepper, minced
  6. 4 garlic cloves, minced
  7. 2 14 ox cans diced tomatoes
  8. 2 15 oz cans chili beans
  9. 2 tbsp tomato paste
  10. 2 tbsp ketchup
  11. 2 tbsp bbq sauce
  12. 1 tbsp Dietz & Watson Yellow Mustard
  13. 3 tsp chili powder
  14. 1/2 tsp cumi

directions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown ground been until cooked through. Drain excess grease and transfer to crockpot.
  2. Add onion, green bell pepper, garlic, tomatoes, beans, tomato paste, ketchup, barbecue sauce, mustard, chili powder, and cumin to the crockpot. Mix together.
  3. Cook over low heat for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  4. Add Dietz & Watson Jumbo Beef Dietz Dogs and 3/4 of the Dietz & Watson shredded Medium Cheddar Cheese to the crockpot for the last 30 minutes.
  5. Garnish with remaining cheese and serve.
