spicy cheddar warm breakfast bowl

ingredients

  • 1 Dietz & Watson Spicy Cheddar Blends, sliced
  • 1 Soft Boiled Egg
  • 1/2 Cup Quinoa, Cooked
  • 1/2 Ripe Avocado, sliced
  • 1/4 cup Pickled Red Onion
  • 1 Cup Baby Kale, Sautéed
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste

directions

  1. In a pan over medium-high heat, drizzle a little olive oil and add the slices of D&W Spicy Cheddar Blends sausage. Cook until D&W Spicy Cheddar Blends sausage slices start to get a little color. Season with a little salt and pepper, to taste.
  2. Remove D&W Spicy Cheddar Blends sausage from pan, drizzle a little more olive oil in the pan, and add baby kale. Season with a little salt and pepper, and cook until slightly wilted.
  3. While the baby kale is cooking, begin to assemble the breakfast bowl starting with the cooked quinoa.
  4. Top quinoa with D&W Spicy Cheddar Blends sausage, pickled red onion, and soft boiled egg. Add avocado slices and sauteed baby kale, and finish with salt, pepper, or seasoning of choice to taste.
