chicken sausage & sweet potato skewers


  • 1 large sweet potato
  • ½ small red onion, ½ inch slices
  • 1 package D&W Asiago & Spinach Chicken Sausage
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil


  1. Peel and slice sweet potatoes into 1-inch cubes.
  2. Add potatoes to a medium pot of water and bring to a boil. Cook potatoes until they are just fork tender, but not too soft.
  3. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  4. Cut sausages into four and skewer with sweet potatoes and red onions, alternating.
  5. Place on baking tray, drizzle lightly with olive oil, and bake for 10-15 minutes or until hot and sausage begins to slightly brown.
