rye jan reuben sandwich

ingredients

  • Dietz & Watson Swiss Cheese
  • Dietz & Watson Corned Beef
  • Rye Bread
  • Sauerkraut
  • Thousand Island Dressing

directions

  1. Preheat a large skillet or griddle on medium heat.
  2. Lightly butter one side of 2 rye bread slices.
  3. Spread the other non-buttered bread sides with Thousand Island dressing.
  4. On the opened bread slice, layer 4 slices of Dietz & Watson corned beef, 1/4 cup sauerkraut and 2 slices of Dietz & Watson Swiss Cheese.
  5. Close sandwich with remaining bread slice, buttered side out.
  6. Place sandwich on skillet, giving it a nice grill for about 4-5 minutes until each side is golden brown.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
