cheddar & spinach grilled cheese

ingredients

  • 3 slices of Dietz & Watson Cheddar Cheese
  • 2 slices of sourdough bread
  • 1 handful of spinach
  • 1 tbsp of butter

directions

  1. Preheat a pan to medium-high heat and add 1 tbsp of butter.
  2. Sauté a handlful of spinach in pan until slightly wilted.
  3. Once spinach is finished, set aside, clean pan, and continue on medium-high heat.
  4. Butter one piece of sourdough bread as you would for a regular grilled cheese sandwich.
  5. Add into pan and place 4 slices of Dietz & Watson Cheddar Cheese and spinach onto bread.
  6. Allow to heat, butter the other piece of bread, and fry other side until nicely browned on both side.
  7. Place the sandwich onto the pan and toast both sides, allowing the cheese to fully melt.
  8. Cut in half and enjoy!
