brazilian Dietz Dogs

ingredients

  1. 4 Dietz & Watson Jumbo Beef Dietz Dogs
  2. 4-6 slices Dietz & Watson Applewood Smoked Bacon
  3. 1/4 cup Dietz & Watson Parmesan Cheese, graded
  4. 2 TBSP olive Oil
  5. ½ tsp crush red pepper
  6. 1 yellow onion, diced
  7. 1 green bell pepper, diced
  8. 1 lb ground beef
  9. 2 cloves minced garlic
  10. 1 can crushed tomatoes
  11. 4 large brat rolls
  12. 1 cup frozen peas
  13. 1 cup crispy shoestring potatoes

directions

  1. Heat oil in a large pan, saute red pepper, onions, green peppers, and crushed red pepper over medium heat until onions are translucent, about 8 minutes.
  2. Add beef and season with salt + pepper, cook until no longer pink.
  3. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Add crushed tomatoes, Dietz Dogs, and 1/2 cup water. Cook for about 15 minutes or until sauce thickens.
  5. Cook Dietz & Watson Applewood Smoked Bacon until crispy and dice into small pieces.
  6. Microwave frozen peas for about 2 minutes or until warm.
  7. Add a Dietz Dog to each roll and top with meat sauce, Dietz & Watson Parmesan Cheese, bacon bits, peas, and shoestring potatoes.
  8. Enjoy!
