back to school sandwich twists

ingredients

  1. Apple Sandwiches:
  2. Dietz & Watson Maple and Honey Uncured Ham and/or Dietz & Watson Organic Turkey Breast
  3. Dietz & Watson Sharp and Creamy Cheddar Cheese
  4. Green and red apples
  1. Cucumber Sushi Sammies:
  2. Dietz & Watson Maple and Honey Uncured Ham and/or Dietz & Watson Chicken Breast
  3. Dietz & Watson Sharp and Creamy Cheddar Cheese
  4. Dietz & Watson Sweet Red Pepper Mayo
  5. Julienned carrots
  6. Cucumbers (thicker works better)
  7. Sesame seeds

directions

  1. Apple Sandwiches:
  2. Cut up an apple into rings, and use a star shaped cookie cutter to cut the core out of the center of each ring.
  3. Cut Dietz & Watson Sharp and Creamy Cheddar Cheese, Dietz & Watson Organic Turkey Breast, and Dietz & Watson Natural Maple and Honey Uncured Ham into rings that match the size fo the apple ring.
  4. Start with an apple ring as the bottom layer, add a slice of cheese and turkey or ham, and top with another apple ring.
  5. Cucumber Sushi Sammies:
  6. Cut a cucumber into 1 inch thick slices.
  7. Scoop out the center of the cucumber slice with an apple corer or small round cookie cutter.
  8. Fill the center of the cucumber with little rolls of Dietz & Watson Sharp and Creamy Cheddar Cheese, Dietz & Watson Deli Meats, and julienned carrots.
  9. Sprinkle sesame seeds over top and serve with a side of Dietz & Watson Sweet Red Pepper Mayo.
