school-cuterie with chef karter

Chef Karter shows us that making kid charcuterie lunch is easy as ABC. All you need is Dietz & Watson Capocolla, Uncured Honey Ham, Sliced Pepperoni, Colby Jack, Pepper Jack, Bacon & Horseradish Cheddar, Garlic & Dill Dietz Chips and your favorite smattering of honey, crackers and nuts.

ingredients

  • Dietz & Watson Capocolla
  • Dietz & Watson Uncured Honey Ham
  • Dietz & Watson Sliced Pepperoni
  • Dietz & Watson Colby Jack
  • Dietz & Watson Pepper Jack
  • Dietz & Watson Bacon & Horseradish Cheddar
  • Garlic & Dill Dietz Chips
  • Honey
  • Crackers
  • Fresh strawberries and grapes
  • Nuts

directions

  1. Take your sliced pepperoni to create a rose. Fold three slices of pepperoni in half, and place the folded center of each slice over the rim of a glass. They should slightly overlap each other.
  2. Keep layering folded slices, overlapping each as you go.
  3. To turn out your rose, place one hand on top of the glass (the base of our finished flower), and with your other hand, grasp the base of the glass and flip it over onto your serving board or plate.
  4. Add in your Dietz & Watson Capocolla and Uncured Honey Ham slices around the plate (or lunchbox!)
  5. Next, add some cheese to your charcuterie with Dietz & Watson Colby Jack, Pepper Jack, Bacon & Horseradish Cheddar, Garlic & Dill Dietz Chips
  6. Finally, fill in any remaining space with crackers, fruit, and nuts - with a side of honey for dipping of course!
