talking turkey...--and chicken

yeah.--we've got a spice guy.

When you make over 70 styles of Turkey, you need someone whose sole job is hand-mixing each combination of spices. Luckily for us, we have such a person. His name is Vinnie.

Vinnie, like everyone who works at Dietz & Watson, takes great pride in what he does. And like everyone who works here, his level of detail is second to none. It needs to be. Because none of our spices come premixed. Vinnie knows just how much of this and how much of that is required to make each turkey a Dietz & Watson Turkey. Needless to say, the same goes for our chicken.

Vinnie, our spice guy, mixes the seasonings for every one of our items by hand every single day.

But Vinnie and his spice room aren’t solely responsible for that delicious Dietz & Watson flavor. Our family farm partners in the Shenandoah Valley deserve some credit for that. After all, they raise the best turkeys (at least that we’ve found). And we can’t forget about our Baltimore location that’s a little more than a stone’s throw from the farm, so the turkey you buy is extremely fresh.

A lot goes into that making that authentic Dietz & Watson flavor that you taste in every single bite. No part is more important than the other. Just don’t tell that to Vinnie. Or the family farms in Virginia. They throw the best holiday parties.
