Allow us to introduce our latest tasty innovation, Dietz & Watson Blends sausages. We threw out the chicken sausage rule book and created an entirely new delicacy, one that is made with 50% of our premium chicken and 50% quinoa and fresh vegetables. Turns out, Blends sausages are not only delicious, they pack significant health benefits for all you flexitarians or just anyone trying to get more veggies into their diet (more on that to come).

Ok, now you’re probably thinking, “What’s so great about this quinoa stuff?” Well, a whole lot, but we’ll try to keep it brief. Quinoa is a whole and unprocessed grain that’s loaded with fiber. Most importantly, it’s a complete protein, containing all 9 essential amino acids required for a healthy diet (yep, the same protein found in meat). All this, AND it’s gluten-free and tastes great?? Ok, now it’s just showing off.

For our first trick, we’ll make the carbs disappear from a delicious pasta bake! This recipe calls for our Tomato & Basil Blends sausages and Originals Mozzarella baked with spaghetti squash and fresh goodness like cherry tomatoes, basil, garlic, and oregano. Poof! Delicious!

Fuel up with this warm bowl of breakfast goodness. Start with our Spicy Cheddar Blends sausages then add avocado, a soft boiled egg, pickled red onion, and sauteed spinach or kale on a bed of cooked quinoa. Now, go make it a great day!

Looking to shake things up? Here’s a meal on a stick! Slice up our Italian style Blends sausage into bite-sized portions, then skewer them with fresh veggies like fresh squash, cremini mushrooms, red onion, and red and green peppers. Then, pop them on the grill and enjoy! Be sure not to bite the stick (it’s much less tasty than the sausage).
