Cheese Steak on the Grill

Serves: 6

Ingredients:

1 1/2 Dietz & Watson Roast Beef, thinly sliced, or
1 1/2 Dietz & Watson Gourmet Breast of Chicken, thinly sliced
4 green bell peppers, sliced
2 white onions, sliced
1 lb Dietz & Watson provolone cheese, grated
Dietz & Watson Mixed Pepper Mayonnaise
Dietz & Watson Chipolte Mayonnaise
Dietz & Watson Sandwich Spread
6 Hoagie Rolls

Instructions:

  1. Prepare a grill, place iron skillet onto grill and lower temperature or wait until coals are low heat. Grill onions slices and pepper slices for about 10 minutes over low heat, or until slightly cooked.
  2. Put slices of beef and slices of chicken, keeping separate, on the hot iron skillet for about 2 minutes or long enough to heat.
  3. Toast hoagie rolls over low heat until lightly browned.
  4. To serve the cheesesteak, spread Dietz & Watson Sandwich Spread on one side of the roll. On the other side, spread Dietz & Watson Mixed Pepper Mayonnaise. Put hot beef in between, add peppers and onions, and sprinkle with cheese. Serve warm.
  5. To serve the chicken cheesesteak, spread Dietz & Watson Sandwich Spread on one side of the roll. On the other side, spread Dietz & Watson Chipolte Mayonnaise. Put hot chicken in between, add peppers and onions, and sprinkle with cheese. Serve warm.
