Glazed Ham on a Biscuit with Cranberry Balsamic Reduction

Ingredients:

~ 12 slices of Dietz & Watson Chef Carved Ham, dressed with Momma’s Recipe Ham Glaze, torn to fit biscuits ~ 12 biscuits ~ Cranberry Balsamic Reduction (see recipe below) Cranberry Balsamic Reduction: ~ One jar (12oz) of Cranberry Preserves ~ 1/4 cup Dietz & Watson Yellow Mustard ~ 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar ~ 1 cup whole basil leaves (fresh) ~ 1 teaspoon whole black peppercorns ~ 1 serrano chile, halved

Instructions:

For the biscuits, find your favorite traditional biscuit recipe and prepare accordingly. While the biscuits bake, combine the Cranberry preserves, vinegar, basil mustard, peppercorns and chile in a medium saucepot over medium heat. Simmer the sauce until thickened (approximately 8 to 10 minutes). Strain the reduction through a fine sieve and if needed, thin with water. Halve freshly baked biscuits and place some ham piece on the bottom half. Drizzle reduction over the ham and cover with biscuit half.
