A true Classic North American Cheese with a semi soft, creamy texture and a buttery, slightly tangy milky flavor. First produced in Monterey, California in the late 1800’s, it has become a favorite cheese in deli sandwiches, melted on pizza and nachos and in Southwestern recipes.
Can be enjoyed with dry red wines, light white wines, ale and beer.
