The Chicago Dog

The Chicago Dog is made with Dietz & Watson Natural Casing Beef Frank on a crusty Italian roll with Dietz & Watson Yellow Mustard, topped with shredded lettuce, sliced tomatoes, onions, sport peppers, pickle relish and celery salt.
For sides, finish it off with some Dietz &Watson Kosher Pickle Spears, potato chips and cole slaw.

Serves: 6

Ingredients:

1 package Dietz & Watson® New York Brand Deli Beef Franks
1 bottle Dietz & Watson® Yellow Mustard
½ head lettuce, shredded
1 tomato, sliced
1 onion, chopped
1 jar sport peppers, sliced
1 jar pickle relish
4 teaspoons celery salt
6 Italian Rolls
1 jar Dietz & Watson® Kosher Pickles

Instructions:

1. Prepare a grill and lower temperature or wait until coals are low heat.
2. Cook franks over low heat until golden brown.
3. Toast buns lightly over low heat.
4. Remove franks from heat and place one in each bun.
5. Top franks with mustard, lettuce, tomato slices, chopped onion, sport peppers and relish.
6. Sprinkle celery salt on top of franks.
7. Serve with Dietz & Watson® Kosher Pickles.
